A guided golf cart tour traces Overtown’s history through the neighborhood’s architecture, cultural landmarks and community stories. Presented by Tap Tap Tours on Saturdays through December 26, with no tour on November 7, the 90-minute experience begins at the Black Police Precinct and Courthouse Museum. The route explores Overtown’s development as a center of Miami’s Black community, from its early history as “Colored Town” to its role in the city’s business, music and cultural life. Stops and commentary highlight significant places, local history and the people who helped shape the neighborhood’s identity. Multiple departures are offered each Saturday, and private tours are also available by request.
