Family History is America’s Story: Tracing the Deering Family through Time

The Genealogical Society of Greater Miami is collaborating with the Deering Estate as we celebrate America250 and highlight members of the Deering family who have played a role in the founding of our country. The exhibition “Family History is America’s Story: Tracing the Deering Family through Time” tells the country’s story, from before the Revolutionary War through today. Installed in The Dining Room, a historic space in the Richmond Cottage at the Deering Estate, the exhibition will be on view from July 1 – October 31, 2026.
