Join curators and authors José Carlos Díaz and Karen Grimson for an in-depth look at the newly released catalog for the Pérez Art Museum Miami exhibition of John Baldessari: The End of the Line, currently on view. The bilingual publication focuses on the legendary artist’s lifelong inquiry into the relationship between images and text, and features essays by Diaz, Grimson, Craig Robins, Analia Saban, Alejandro Cesarco, David Lamelas, and Dorit Cypis. The authors will discuss the catalog’s structure, the scholarship that informed it, and the ways in which the book extends the exhibition’s argument for Miami and English/Spanish-speaking audiences alike. Attendees of this program will receive complimentary admission to view the exhibition after the event.
