Holiday Barkzaar at The Barnacle

Holiday shopping, live music and activities for dogs fill the waterfront grounds of The Barnacle Historic State Park in Coconut Grove. Presented by Equipaws Pet Services and The Barnacle Society, the fifth annual Holiday Barkzaar takes place Saturday, November 14, benefiting Paw Patrol Animal Rescue and the park. Local pet businesses offer food, treats, collars, clothing and accessories, with food vendors and refreshments also available. Activities include: • A dog lure course and The Dog from Ipanema play zone with cooling pools • Holiday costume and best-tricks contests • Holiday ornament decorating and letters to Santa • Live holiday music • Santa Paws portraits, available for an additional fee Admission is $7, with free entry for children ages 5 and younger. Dogs must remain leashed, be up to date on vaccinations and have proof of rabies vaccination. Owners must complete the park’s dog waiver before arrival. Puppies younger than four months are not permitted.
