Exhibition Reception: “Welcome to Wonder” by Josh Aronson

An opening reception at Vizcaya Village introduces Josh Aronson’s new site-responsive photography installation, which explores how people relate to landscape, identity and place. Taking place Saturday, November 7 at the Vizcaya Village Café, the program includes light bites, refreshments, opening remarks and an artist-led tour. Welcome to Wonder extends along Vizcaya’s walking paths, using intimate photographic encounters to examine themes of visibility, concealment, belonging and discovery. Aronson, a Miami-based artist, created the installation in response to Vizcaya’s landscape and the ways visitors move through it. Remarks by curator Helena Gomez and Aronson begin at 11:30 a.m., followed by the tour. Reception admission also includes entry to Vizcaya Museum and Gardens.
