The Faint

Synth-driven dance-punk, jagged guitars and tightly synchronized electronics bring The Faint’s dark, club-ready sound to Allapattah. Presented by Endoxa and Breakeven Booking, the concert takes place Friday, November 13 at Las Rosas. The performance draws from a catalog that helped shape the crossover between indie rock, new wave and underground dance music around the turn of the millennium. Formed in Omaha in 1995, The Faint developed its signature sound through sequencers, drum machines and analog keyboards. Albums including Blank-Wave Arcade, Danse Macabre and Wet from Birth earned the band an international following, with songs such as “Agenda Suicide,” “Glass Danse” and “The Geeks Were Right” combining propulsive rhythms with anxious synth textures. The concert is open to guests ages 18 and older.
