The Amy Winehouse Band

Soul, jazz and pop songs from Amy Winehouse’s catalog return to the stage in a concert performed by musicians who worked with her in the studio and on tour. The performance takes place Friday, April 2 on the Main Stage at The Moss Center. Longtime musical director and bassist Dale Davis leads the ensemble, joined by a vocalist selected to interpret Winehouse’s distinctive repertoire. The program traces her career through songs including “Back to Black,” “Rehab,” “Tears Dry on Their Own” and “Valerie,” drawing on the arrangements and musical chemistry developed by her original band. The concert offers both longtime listeners and newer audiences a live introduction to the songwriting, vocal phrasing and stylistic blend that defined her work. VIP tickets include table seating and one complimentary glass of wine, beer or a soft drink.
