Scattrbrain

Post-punk, grunge and hardcore influences reshape the music of Atlanta rapper GRIP in a full-band performance at ZeyZey’s indoor Tima Disco. Appearing Tuesday, November 3, Scattrbrain serves as GRIP’s alternative project, expanding his lyric-driven approach into a heavier sound built around guitars, live instrumentation and DIY aesthetics. Developed with Grouplove bassist Daniel Gleason, producer and engineer T.J. Elias and other Atlanta collaborators, the project centers on Scattrbrain & The Unwavering Self Doubt. The album explores burnout, identity, addiction, industry disillusionment and self-doubt while placing GRIP’s storytelling within a more abrasive rock framework.
