Salsaholics: Halloween in Miami at DanceArts

Salsa, bachata and Halloween costumes take over DanceArts Miami for a late-night social dance party with live percussion and DJs. Presented Saturday, October 31 by Miami Salsa Events, the annual Salsaholics Halloween gathering features an On2 salsa workshop, dancing across two rooms and a costume contest with prizes. The salsa room features DJ Mike Calderon with Eduardo Cano on congas and Sasha Rodriguez on timbales, while Pantea Hearts and The Party People host the bachata room. An On2 salsa workshop led by Angie Zumaran opens the evening before social dancing continues through the night. Costumes are encouraged, with prizes awarded to the top three entries. Advance tickets are $20, with admission increasing to $25 at the door. Free parking and an onsite bar are available.
