Ritual of Receiving

Intuitive movement and live sound frame a workshop exploring self-trust, freedom and a sense of safety in the body. Ritual of Receiving takes place Friday, November 6 at The Standard Spa, Miami Beach, led by Jodi Carey and Eileen Moran. Drawing on a somatic approach to Tantric philosophy, the session emphasizes awareness of physical sensations and embodied presence. Movement explorations lead into a closing live sound experience. A multidisciplinary teacher with a background in dance and performance, Carey has taught yoga and healing arts since 2001. Her practice brings together somatic movement, meditation and restorative yoga. Admission is $102.45 and includes access to the indoor baths afterward, with time in the sauna, steam room and hammam.
