Latin American art song takes center stage in a recital exploring the poetry, folklore, dance rhythms and national traditions that have shaped the region’s classical repertoire. Presented as part of Florida Grand Opera’s Studio Artists Recital Series, the SongFest program Rhythms & Reflections brings FGO Studio Artists to First Miami Presbyterian Church for a free performance. The program travels across Latin America through works by composers from Argentina, Brazil, Mexico, Cuba and beyond, highlighting the range of musical languages found within the art-song tradition. Intimate vocal performances connect classical technique with poetry and cultural storytelling, offering a closer look at both familiar repertoire and lesser-known works. Admission is free.
