Pollinator Plant Workshop @ Patch

Florida native plants and pollinator-friendly gardening are the focus of a hands-on workshop at Patch of Heaven Sanctuary. Presented Sunday, November 15 in collaboration with the UF/IFAS Extension Master Gardener Program, the two-hour session explores practical ways to support bees, butterflies and other pollinators through thoughtful plant selection and garden design. Led by Patch’s Edible Garden Specialist with two UF/IFAS Extension Master Gardener Program interns, the workshop covers native plants that benefit pollinators, habitat needs and approachable ways to create a pollinator-friendly garden at home. The program also considers how individual planting choices can contribute to a healthier local ecosystem. No prior gardening experience is required. Advance registration is required, and space is limited.
