MOMIX Botanica

Nature, illusion and athletic movement unfold in MOMIX Botanica, a visual theater work that transforms the changing seasons into a surreal stage experience. The production comes to The Moss Center with performances Saturday, November 21 and Sunday, November 22. Created by MOMIX, the performance combines contemporary dance, acrobatics, puppetry, props and cinematic projections to evoke natural imagery across the course of a day and the cycle of the seasons. The score ranges from birdsong to Vivaldi, adding texture to a production shaped by shifting light, movement and fantasy. Botanica highlights the company’s signature blend of physical precision and visual invention, using the human body and theatrical design to suggest flowers, animals, landscapes and other forms from the natural world.
