Hand Embroidery

A native beautyberry pattern connects the foliage of Miami Beach Botanical Garden with the traditional craft of needlework. Designed for beginners, the class takes place Sunday, November 15 and introduces basic hand-embroidery techniques as participants stitch the original botanical design onto a cocktail napkin. Instructor Cecilia de Botton combines a lifelong embroidery practice with her background as a botany and environmental science teacher. All materials are provided in the included kit.
