Grief in Community

Sound healing and community conversations on loss, grief and connection, hosted by local nonprofits during Give Miami Day Too often, loss and grief are lonely experiences. Confront the silence and isolation, and experience healing through music and connection, during this powerful community event from We Met in Miami, Miami Sound Space and Lift From Loss. Join us on Monday, Nov. 16, at 6 p.m., for Grief in Community, an evening of sound healing and facilitated conversations on loss, grief, and the transformative power of community. This unique evening blends: • Sound Healing Performances: Featuring the gentle voices of the Miami Sound Space Threshold Singers, who bring comfort and peace to individuals on the threshold of life's end during hospice care and other end-of-life services. • Facilitated small-group conversations: Build meaningful connections and community with others who have had similar experiences. • Support and resources: Learn about weekly peer grief support groups for adults who have experienced loss.
