Garden of Shadows

Six haunted encounters turn Fairchild Tropical Botanic Garden into an after-dark Halloween trail during its annual October event. Returning Friday, October 23 and Saturday, October 24, Garden of Shadows leads visitors through a sequence of story-driven stops across the Garden, from the Gatehouse to the Vine Pergola, as they follow clues about the night the shadows returned. Guests can complete a Shadow Trail card while moving through the six encounters and enter a nightly costume contest at 9 p.m. Additional experiences include guided Into the Shadows tram tours, cocktail and mocktail flights, picnic baskets and reserved lounge seating. General admission starts at $35.95 for adults, with discounted pricing available for Fairchild members. Parking gates open at 6:30 p.m., and the event runs from 7 to 10:30 p.m. both nights. .
