Fritz Lang's "M" (NR)

German Expressionist Evenings German Expressionist cinema was born out of the angst and upheaval of rapid industrialization, political disorder, and economic collapse in the interwar years. Instead of depicting the physical world, the art focused on the psychological impact of the world around them – the anxiety, despair, and fractured experience of modern life. Join us each week to see one of the classics of this influential period in film history that still impacts films made today. Schedule: • October 1: Nosferatu • October 8: Metropolis • October 15: The Golem: How He Came into the World • October 22: Fritz Lang's "M"
