Food for the Soul

The MAGIC group (Mideast Action Group Interfaith Collaboration) will present a Food for the Soul program on antisemitism. The presenter will be Donna Nevel, community psychologist and educator and co-director of PARCEO, a research and education center. Donna will share with us her workshop on Challenging Antisemitism from a Framework of Collective Liberation. This presentation will be devoted to understanding and challenging antisemitism from the perspective of a deep commitment to justice and dignity for all people. Topics will include: an understanding of what antisemitism is, with a historical framework; antisemitism in the US; what antisemitism isn’t and why that matters; and how to challenge antisemitism alongside other injustices and from a lens of collective liberation. Lunch will be provided.
