Folsom Prison Live: The Johnny Cash Experience

Johnny Cash’s landmark 1968 prison concert is recreated through a two-act tribute combining live music with the stories and atmosphere surrounding At Folsom Prison. The performance takes place Saturday, March 6, on the Main Stage at The Moss Center. The first act presents the album from beginning to end, including “Folsom Prison Blues,” “Dark as a Dungeon,” “Cocaine Blues” and “Greystone Chapel.” The second expands into a broader survey of Cash’s catalog with songs such as “Ring of Fire,” “I Walk the Line,” “Jackson” and “A Boy Named Sue.” Presented as an independent tribute, the production traces the defiance, compassion and storytelling that defined Cash’s music across different stages of his career. VIP tickets include table seating and a complimentary glass of wine, beer or a soft drink.
