Foil Racing League: The Miami Foil GP

Riders race above the water on electrically powered hydrofoil boards during a day of competition at Miami Marine Stadium on Virginia Key. Presented by UBS, The Miami Foil GP takes place Sunday, November 15 as Foil Racing League’s flagship event, with free spectator admission and activities for families. Head-to-head heats send two riders along matching courses, with round-robin results determining who advances to four-rider finals. Competition includes pro, open men’s, open women’s and youth categories. A separate Enduro brings the field together for a longer race testing speed, control and battery management. Category heats are scheduled throughout the morning, followed by afternoon finals. On shore, visitors can explore a vendor village, watch the racing and find food trucks, DJ music and demo rides. A $100 VIP Boat Experience offers viewing from the water, including the finals and podium ceremony. All-day parking costs $20.
