FIU Quantum Initiative Distinguished Speaker Series: Mack Kira, Ph.D.

As part of the FIU Quantum Initiative Distinguished Speaker Series for Fall 2026, Dr. Mack Kira, Professor at the Department of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science, University of Michigan, Ann Arbor, will visit FIU to deliver a Quantum Lightwave Optoelectronics seminar on October 28. He is Co-Director of UM’s Quantum Research Institute (QRI), Director of the Midwest Quantum Collaboratory (MQC), and Director of the NSF National Quantum Virtual Laboratory (NQVL) Center for Quantum Photonic Integration and Deployment (QuPID). This will be the third seminar in our FIU Quantum Distinguished Speaker Series.
