Many are predicting that quantum technology will form the basis for the future of technology and the international economy. As a result, many nations and businesses are investing heavily in “Quantum Information Science,” to include the development of quantum computers, sensors, and networks. In this talk, Dr. Peters will describe a key resource to enable this quantum future, entanglement, and how it might be useful in the future. He will also describe connections to modern digital systems that make our world function as well as dispel some common misconceptions surrounding future quantum systems.
