Mexican singer-songwriter El David Aguilar brings poetic lyrics, intricate guitar work and cross-cultural folk influences to ZeyZey Miami. The performance takes place Tuesday, November 17 on the Zaku Stage. Known for his place in Mexico’s independent music scene, Aguilar draws from Mexican folklore, Latin and Brazilian traditions, American rock, pop and folk. Aguilar’s songwriting combines melodic detail with reflective lyrics, shaping a catalog that has led to collaborations with artists including Natalia Lafourcade, Jorge Drexler and Mon Laferte. His 2024 album Compita Del Destino explores themes of love, life and fate, continuing a body of work rooted in folk traditions while moving fluidly across contemporary Latin music styles. ZeyZey Miami is an open-air cultural venue with a full beverage program and food from Tacos María, which serves grass-fed, seed-oil-free tacos. The venue regularly presents live music, DJ sets and community gatherings across genres.
