Disney's Beauty and the Beast

A new touring production of Disney’s Beauty and the Beast brings its reimagined staging and classic score to the Adrienne Arsht Center. Running March 30 through April 4, this South Florida premiere is part of the 2026-27 Broadway in Miami season in the Ziff Ballet Opera House. The production presents a refreshed interpretation of the long-running musical with updated design elements. Based on the animated film, the story follows Belle, a young woman who forms an unexpected bond with a prince transformed into a beast, exploring themes of compassion, transformation and identity. The musical features songs by Alan Menken and Tim Rice, including “Be Our Guest” and the title ballad, alongside a narrative adapted for the stage by Linda Woolverton. This new production reunites members of the original Tony Award-winning creative team, with direction and choreography by Matt West, scenic design by Stanley A. Meyer, costumes by Ann Hould-Ward and lighting by Natasha Katz.
