Concert for Kids: Spooky Symphony

Halloween costumes, hands-on activities and orchestral music introduce young listeners to spooky-season classics at the New World Center in Miami Beach. Concert for Kids: Spooky Symphony takes place Sunday, November 1, at 11:30 a.m., as part of New World Symphony’s 2026-2027 season. Designed for children ages 4 to 9, the family concert features Halloween-themed music performed by the New World Symphony in an accessible format for younger audiences. The program pairs ghostly melodies and festive musical surprises with a concert setting intended to spark curiosity about orchestral sound. Guests are encouraged to arrive early for pre-concert activities, including hands-on experiences and seasonal family programming. Costumes are welcome. The concert is led by NWS Conducting Fellow Ziwei Ma, who conducts family, educational and holiday programming at New World Symphony and appears on subscription concerts throughout the season.
