Candlelight Open Air: Christmas Carols on Strings

Holiday carols arranged for string quartet fill an open-air setting at Jungle Island illuminated by candlelight. The 60-minute concert takes place Wednesday, January 20, with Miami’s Collins Quartet performing a program of traditional Christmas music as part of the Candlelight series. Selections include “Carol of the Bells,” “O Holy Night,” “Silent Night,” “Joy to the World,” “The First Noël,” “Greensleeves (What Child Is This),” “Hark! The Herald Angels Sing” and “O Come, All Ye Faithful,” along with other seasonal favorites. The performance pairs familiar melodies with the intimate atmosphere of Candlelight’s signature candlelit setting.
