Singer-songwriter and pianist Gabe Dixon returns to the Frost School of Music for a collaborative performance with the American Music Ensemble at the Knight Center for Music Innovation. Presented Thursday, November 5, as part of Frost Music Live’s 2026-2027 season and the Creative American Music Festival, the concert pairs a Frost alumnus with one of the school’s contemporary student ensembles under the direction of Daniel Strange. Dixon has built a career around a blend of pop, rock, jazz and singer-songwriter traditions, combining piano-driven arrangements with soulful vocals and narrative songwriting. His professional work has included collaborations and performances with major artists, including Paul McCartney. The CAM Fest appearance brings Dixon together with emerging Frost musicians in a program centered on contemporary American songwriting, ensemble collaboration and live interpretation. The performance takes place on the Hormel Innovation Stage.
