Burn the Floor: Maks & Peta LIVE

Ballroom and Latin dance take center stage at The Moss Center as Maksim “Maks” Chmerkovskiy and Peta Murgatroyd lead a touring production of Burn the Floor. The Friday, April 16 performance pairs the longtime dance partners with a cast of multidisciplinary dancers and a live band. Chmerkovskiy and Murgatroyd are both closely associated with competitive ballroom and television dance, including Dancing with the Stars. Their production builds on the performance style of Burn the Floor, known for bringing ballroom forms into a theatrical concert setting with fast-paced choreography, ensemble numbers and live music. The 90-minute show blends ballroom and Latin styles with contemporary staging and large-scale group choreography.
