Build Your Own Bookmark with GOGO MOAD

Markers, ribbons and Freedom Tower stamps become materials for personalized bookmarks in a family art activity at Miami Book Fair. Build Your Own Bookmark With GOGO MOAD takes place November 20–22 at the Children’s Alley Create! Canopy at Miami Dade College’s Wolfson Campus in Downtown Miami. Children can combine drawings, symbols and colorful embellishments to create a bookmark to take home. The activity is presented by GOGO MOAD, the Museum of Art and Design at Miami Dade College’s traveling education program, which brings hands-on artmaking and shared learning experiences to community spaces throughout Miami. Sessions take place: • Friday, November 20: 11:30 a.m.–2 p.m. • Saturday, November 21: 12:30–3 p.m. • Sunday, November 22: 12:30–3 p.m. The activity is free and open to children ages 5 and older and their families.
