Historical fiction, witchcraft and women’s voices across centuries shape an author conversation with Madeline Martin at The Betsy - South Beach. Held Sunday, October 25, the Books & Books event marks the release of Martin’s new novel, A Time of Witches. The novel follows two women connected across time: Lilith Legare, whose search for answers leads from Savannah to an English manor, and Sybil Brantham, a wealthy widow accused of witchcraft in 1645 Suffolk. Their parallel stories explore inheritance, persecution, silence and the ways women reclaim power within histories that seek to erase them. Martin is a New York Times and international bestselling author of historical fiction whose books have been translated into more than 25 languages. Tickets are required, with both free admission and book-inclusive options available.
