Bfa in Digital Arts/design Exhibition "Relate (V.)" - Fall 2026

The 2026 Fall Term BFA in Digital Arts/Design Exhibition "RELATE (v.)" takes place at the BEA Gallery, Florida International University (FIU), on Wednesday, November 4, from 6:00 to 8:00 PM. RELATE (v.) explores how connections between people, places, systems, and experiences can be designed across real and speculative contexts. Combining artistic and design approaches with diverse modes of making, students explore interpersonal, intercultural, and interspecies relationships encompassing memory, identity, technology, ecology, infrastructure, and social systems. Their projects engage with both informational structures and emotional systems, considering how knowledge, feeling, and experience shape the ways we "relate". While each student explores a specific topic, collectively, the works examine how design can connect, interpret, and transform the relationships through which we understand ourselves, one another, and the worlds we inhabit. Together, they search for the possibility of a world in which we can intentionally relate to one another, to other forms of life, and to the complex systems we share. Poster design by Jory Joseph
