One very smoky night. Chris Lilly and Rodney Scott bring the best of Southern barbecue to Miami Beach for a dinner built around fire, smoke, and the kind of barbecue that demands a seat at the table. Lilly, the fourth-generation owner and chef/pitmaster of Alabama’s legendary Big Bob Gibson Bar-B-Q, has helped lead the restaurant’s competition team to 18 World BBQ Championships and five Memphis in May World Grand Championships. Scott, a James Beard Award-winning pitmaster, has been cooking whole-hog barbecue over wood coals since he was 11 years old, carrying the traditions of South Carolina barbecue to tables across the country. Together, they’ll bring their distinct Southern barbecue traditions to the plate, with slow-smoked meats, smoky sauces, savory sides, and plenty of that unmistakable pitmaster magic. Set at The Patio at Continuum, the lush South Pointe setting adds a breezy Miami backdrop to an evening all about fire, flavor, and seriously good barbecue. Come hungry. Leave room for seconds.
