Flamenco dance and Spanish guitar come together in a tribute to Paco de Lucía at the Adrienne Arsht Center. Barcelona Guitar Trio & Dance performs Sunday, November 22, bringing its internationally toured program to Miami. Presented by Aranto Productions, the ensemble pairs three guitarists with flamenco dancers and percussion for a concert rooted in Spanish musical traditions. The group features guitarists Alí Arango, Xavier Coll and Luis Robisco, joined by dancers Carolina Morgado and José Manuel Álvarez and percussionist Lucas Balbo. The program draws on the work of Paco de Lucía along with compositions by Chick Corea, Manuel de Falla and Federico García Lorca, connecting flamenco with classical and jazz-influenced repertoire. Barcelona Guitar Trio & Dance has performed at venues including Emirates Palace in Abu Dhabi, Seoul Arts Theater, Tel Aviv Opera House and The Town Hall New York. In Barcelona, the ensemble regularly appears at the Palau de la Música Catalana, the city’s landmark UNESCO-listed concert hall.
